As part of the digital campaign for I Am A Reader, we asked readers from across Inspire Libraries to tell us their thoughts on three of the project’s key questions.

Which books (or book) do you love the most?

Desert island reads

If you were ever to be stranded on a desert island, you’d definitely want it to be one with such an extensive library as that chosen by the I Am A Reader participants! Each person picked up to three of their favourite books and we’ve gathered them into one giant recommended reads list - 144 very varied titles. All titles are of course available for you to borrow from Inspire Libraries.

You can browse the titles in our digital book on this page, or visit our I Am A Reader Pinterest board where you can click through from any of the books on the Pinterest board to find it on our library catalogue.

It’s no exaggeration to say that there’s something on the list for everyone, whatever their likes or dislikes.
